2022
Emerging technologies
The team initiated research on dry recycling technology, focusing on safe discharge and pretreatment modules, and completed market and technical feasibility analysis.
2023
Technical verification
A prototype experimental line (crushing and sorting module) was built, and recovery rate tests were conducted with colleges and universities and metal plants, successfully verifying the feasibility of the dry process.
2025
Formal establishment and awards
Registered in Taoyuan City, "Yao Thorium Lithium Co., Ltd." was established. Equipment integration and regulatory approvals were completed, earning the 2025 Taiwan-Japan Outstanding Entrepreneur Award, and participation in the SBIR program. In the same year, equipment verification and testing were conducted with the Armaments Bureau, Delta Electronics, and battery manufacturers.
First half of 2026
Commercialization
Memoranda of understanding (MOUs) were signed with upstream collectors and downstream refineries. An automated control system was implemented, and the plant entered a phase of stable mass production and capacity adjustment.
Second half of 2026
ESG and Expansion Plans
Establish a low-energy dry process demonstration line and launch an ESG social investment plan to create a green recycling demonstration base throughout Taiwan.
